Mutton Pepper Fry




Requirement: 500 gms mutton, 1 tbsps chili powder, ½ inch piece ginger, 8 flakes garlic, 3 cloves, ½ inch piece cinnamon, 6 pepper-corns, 1 onion, 2 tbsps oil.

Method: Grind the ginger, garlic and the powdered spices. Slice onion. Heat oil, add onion, when onion becomes golden brown add ginger-garlic paste and fry a little. Add the washed and diced meat, chili powder and salt. Add enough water for meat to cook and keep lid and cook. When meat is cooked, add spices and fry until water evaporates, Serve hot.
