Make a simple lantern for diwali

1. Form a roll with a thin sheet of cardboard 25cm x 9cm (make it as cylinder). 
2. Take a colored tinted paper 24cm x 9cm and fold it in half. 
3. Make parallel cuts at a distance of about 0.5cm as shown in following image, leaving a margin of 1cm.

4. Unfold and paste the margins along the upper and the lower edges of the cylinder. 
5. For extra decoration, cut a sheet of thin colored paper (choose another color) 24cm x 9cm as shown in following image, leaving a margin of 1cm.

6. Stick it along the lower edge of the lantern. Thats it! Your lantern is ready!
