Sukh Purvak (Easy confortable Pranayam)




Method: Sit comfortably with legs crossed. Close the right nostril with the thumb, draw in the air very slowly through the nostril. Then, close left nostril also with the little and rising fingers of right hand. Retain the air as long as you comfortably can. Then, exhale very slowly through the right nostril after removing the thumb. Repeat the same process with the other nostril after, and thus complete this one Pranayam. Do 5 pranayams to start with at one sitting and gradually increase them to 20.


Benefits: This Pranayam cures many diseases, purifies the nervous system, steadies the concentration of mind, and improves digestion and appetite.
