Thready Chicken Soup



Required: 1 medium sized chicken. 10 clove garlic (chopped) 1 medium onion (chopped), 11/2 liter water, 1 table spoon alphabetic noodles or star noodles, 2 beaten eggs, salt to taste, 1/2 table spoon mono sodium Glutamate (ajinomoto)
Method: Boil the first four ingredients over a slow fire till the chicken is tender. Now, shred the chicken and set the meat aside. Return the bones and gristle to the pressure cooker and allow to simmer on slow fire for another half an hour. Drain the stock and discard the bones and residue. Add the shredded chicken, bring to a boil and add noodles and salt. Cook till the noodles are done (5 minutes) Stir in the beaten egg and cook till it curdles into thread. Remove from the fire, add ajinomoto and server hot.
